Company Profile
Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence
Company Overview
In the 155-year history of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence, one thing has always remained the same: we provide safe spaces and structured programming led by positive adult role models who guide our young people as they play, grow, and learn. Today, 82% of our members live under the poverty line. To assure them a bright future, we work to break the cycle of poverty. That means addressing the structural issues that hold our kids back, including lack of access to educational programming, and lack of exposure to critical opportunities that develop their skills, talents, and passions. Our mission is "to enable and inspire children and youth, especially those from diverse or difficult circumstances, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible and healthy members of their community, the State of Rhode Island, and the nation."
